Welcome to Thursday Art and Dinner Date! This week’s optional art prompt is “Wheels”. Bugs Bunny hopped on his old-timey bike this week to pose for me! I drew Bugs separately, then brought him into Photoshop to sharpen him up. I drew the bike separately too for one of my art lessons. Photoshop is a great design and art tool! I was able to remove the backgrounds from the Bugs drawing and the bike drawing, then superimpose Bugs sitting on the bike. A year ago, I would not have known how to do this!

Dinner Date: PIZZA NIGHT!!!
If you know me by now, you know that I love pizza! This week I made a Cheddar Cheese Pizza and a Vegan All-Dressed Pizza! I actually filmed the entire meal for a video for my Rain’s Kitchen and Garden YouTube Channel. I made the Pizza Dough, the Chunky Pizza Sauce, and the Vegan Cheese. It was quite something!
If you’d like to watch the video, I show you from start to finish how to make these pizzas from scratch:
That’s all for now folks! Please join us again next Thursday for Thursday Art and Dinner Date! Next week’s optional art prompt is: “Spoons”. If you’d like a heads-up, here is a list of all of the art prompts for 2024.

Thanks Heidrun, hugs! ♥
Oh, that’s great, dear Rain, we actually saw a similar nostalgic bike (integrated into a work of art) on our long trip, but unfortunately it doesn’t appear in my current post (because this is only a short sign of life after our trip).
All the best and best wishes after my blog break,
Traude

You saw a real-life bike like that? That’s so cool Traude! ♥
Rain, Your website looks fantastic! Great job!
Thanks Belinda! ♥
Your bike is great! And oh, those fabulous pizzas! I’m a green olive fan but I’ll take any kind! I don’t have art to share today but something tasty!
Thanks Jeanie! ♥ I’m on my way to see your tasty post! ☺
Hello Rain,
Pizza is a favorite of mine, your pizza looks delicious too. Love Bug on the bike, well done.
Take care, have a great day and happy weekend!
Thanks Eileen! ♥
Hi, Rain! I love pizza too, and yours look fabulous! I especially like olives and onions on mine, and I noticed those ingredients right away. I need to make more things from scratch. I’m amazed at what you can now do with Bugs. You have progressed so much. But now I’m wondering how magicians can stuff a rabbit in a top hat! Endless mysteries in this world! Enjoy your weekend! Hugs to you!
Oh my gosh….I would love to know all of the magician’s secrets too! ☺ Thanks Louise!! ♥
You did a great job on your old timey bicycle. That was an excellent idea to draw! The children’s art project is just darling. You’re incredible to include your art tutorials which is fabulous for anyone to use or to be inspired. Speaking of inspiration, your pizzas look very inspiring! We absolutely love, love homemade pizza and I usually make it every weekend. I won’t be making them for awhile until DH gets his new dental crowns on his upper arch. I’m going to miss it but I’ll keep busy in the kitchen making special things that he can eat more easily. 🙂 Have a doodletastic weekend!
Thanks Cathy! It was fun, though I’m still confounded as to how people used to get on and off them lol! Oh gosh what a shame that you have to put your pizza meals on hold, but understandably!! I saw a video where a girl put a slice of pizza through a blender, yuck! Somehow I don’t think your hubs would find that appetizing!! ☺☺
…keep your wheels spinning!
You got that straight Tom!! ☺☺
I do like your Bugs Bunny on the bike and little Miss Watering Can is so cute 🙂
Great looking pizza.
Have a good week.
All the best Jan
Thanks Jan, I love Miss Watering Can! ☺☺
I love your drawing of Bugs on his “penny farthing” bicycle! He looks quite elegant while out for a ride.
Doesn’t he though? I think he’s just missing a pipe lol! ☺
Love your bike and the pizza looks wonderful Rain!
Thanks Christine, I’m loving that pizza dough, it’s so yummy! ☺
OMG, that is so awesome … and Bugs looks so old fashion as does his bike. I agree … I can’t imagine being able to ride a bike like that. But, that said, they are kind of cool 🙂 Pizza, Pizza … I do wish we lived closer together. I would love to be able to pop in for dinner at your house 😁 Love this post and I am glad I can finally put in my link … It is supposed to get in the 80’s here next week. A little too much too soon, I think. I was looking forward to some 70’s days. Hope all is well with the new family members … and the old, of course. Yet another great post, Rain …

I don’t know how they got on or off it Andrea! But I guess I don’t understand how people can ride unicycles either! ☺ Thanks Andrea! ♥
