Vegan “Chicken” Seasoning

This is a very easy recipe for vegan “chicken” seasoning that tastes just like regular chicken seasoning! This recipe makes about 1/4 cup.


  • 1/2 cup (65g) nutritional yeast 

  • 3/4 tbsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tbsp dried parsley

  • 1 tbsp celery salt

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/4 tsp paprika

  • 1/4 tsp thyme

  • 1/4 tsp sage

  • 1/8 tsp turmeric


  • Blend all ingredients together until you get a fine powder.

  • For a vegan chicken broth, add 2 tsp (about 6 g) to each cup (250 ml) of boiling water.
  • Store in an airtight container, like a Mason jar, on the counter. This lasts a very long time. When the flavors start to fade a little, it’s time to make some more!
