Thursday Art and Dinner Date: Herbs

Welcome to Thursday Art and Dinner Date! Today’s optional art prompt is “Herbs”. My mint bed is exploding this summer so I’m putting it to good use, making mint juleps! PS: I’m on a summer break, but please feel free to join in on the art and dinner date! ♥

That’s all for now folks! Please join us again next Thursday for Thursday Art and Dinner Date! Next week’s optional art prompt is: “Bench”. If you’d like a heads-up, here is a list of all of the art prompts for 2024.

If you’d like to share your post, just link up below! We’d love to see your foodie post and/or your art post! Remember, the weekly art prompt is optional, we’d love to see any art you’ve created!

  1. I remember my late MIL would often make iced mint tea when DH an I were dating as well into the early years of our marriage. That was always such a treat on hot summer afternoons, too. Enjoy your summer break, my dear!

Can you make a virgin Mint Julep? That I would like and yes, once you plant mint it is guaranteed to explode and explode more each year … that can be a good thing, or not. How is your summer break going? Is it really a break or are you filling your time with other things. And how are your fur babies … I miss them. Any new pictures of them to share? So even short and sweet, I enjoy your posts. Stay well and reeeeelax, my friend. You are long overdue for this break 🙂

Hi, Rain! Those mint tulips look so refreshing! I love the photo of you with Jack and Raven in your sidebar! Continue taking good care of yourself! Hugs to you!

  5. Your drink looks wonderful. I wish my next post was ready to go — I added a few more herbs than the ones in this photo/post! Ah well, at least I’m here and looking forward to seeing the others!
