Welcome to Thursday Art and Dinner Date! Today’s optional art prompt is “favorite birds”. Daffy is definitely one of my favorite birds! It was hard choosing between him, Tweety and Foghorn Leghorn, but Daffy was very persuasive!
As Daffy was posing, I drew him in my sketch pad, then uploaded the sketch to my photo editing software. There, I cleaned him up and colored him in. I added some details and a background – all royalty-free images from Pixabay.

Dinner Date: Roasted Red Pepper and Tomato Sauce
For our dinner date, I made a delicious Roasted Red Pepper and Tomato Sauce for pasta. (Click on the link for the recipe). Oh my gosh, it was so good. Very easy to make, I added balsamic vinegar to the mix and it really popped the flavor!
