Welcome to Thursday Art and Dinner Date! Today’s optional art prompt is “Bubbles”. Tweety Bird is singing his famous bathtub song, he knows that to avoid troubles, make some bubbles!

I sketched out Tweety Bird in my sketch pad. I decided to sketch the bathtub and his shower cap separately as well. I uploaded these images to my laptop and superimposed them into one final image. I added bubbles, flowers to his cap, color and the text using my graphics design tablet. I created the background using the “gradient” tool of my photo editing software, where you can use a gradient of any color you choose, so they blend well into each other.
Live Art Lesson on Rain Frances Art

I think I have the hang of it now…creating a technical-error free live stream lol…If anyone would like to join me live on the 24th at 10am, I’ll be showing you how to easily paint and draw the Aurora Borealis. It’s a live show so you can chat with me – you just have to have a Gmail account. Once prompted to “create a YouTube channel”, you just click okay and then you can subscribe to Rain Frances Art and follow along while chatting with me. It’s a lot of fun. You don’t need to add any videos to your YouTube channel, you just need to have one to enter the chat. I have all of the supplies I’ll be using in the description of the video that you can find here: How To Paint and Draw The Northern Lights. Hope to see you there!

I do like Tweety in the bath tub and your crepes look great 🙂
All the best Jan
Tweety looks cute washing his twoubles away in bubble bath. I will try to catch your live art session. I’d like to learn how to draw/color the northern lights. I hop you had a blessed Easter celebration, my dear. Have a boogietastic week!
Oh Tweety! Sing in the tub!
That is a very fun drawing! I love crepes. Thanks so much for hosting!

Lovely bubbles piece, so cute and the crepes look so good.
Tweety in the tub is just delightful, Rain.
And your crepes look so tasty.
Thank you for hosting.
Dear Rain, your singing Tweety in the bathtub is so adorable!
And your French crepes look delicious! In Austria, they’re made just as thin – and they’re called “Palatschinken” here. (I’d love to hear you pronounce that word 😊. Not even the German-speaking people in our neighboring country Germany can pronounce it correctly 😉…) We traditionally eat them here with apricot jam and sprinkled with powdered sugar, or alternatively, filled with nougat cream (and maybe whipped cream), with chocolate cream, or savory – e.g., with Bolognese sauce and topped with cheese. Which filling do you prefer?
I wish you and everyone you care about a happy Easter! 🌷🐇🐥🐣🌸🐔🐤🐰🌷
All the best, Traude

Love your depiction of bubbles. Your cartoon creations are always fun.
Your Tweety is, as always, wonderful. You have him perfected and even his speech impediment 🙂 This has been a terrible Trump😝week. He is a disaster and is causing everyone to stress out. Slowly we are getting together and at some point, we will stop him. Meanwhile, I plan to enjoy my life in spite of him. Hope all is well with you, dear friend …
